Champagne Fridays: Add some fizz to your weekend! Buy one glass or bottle of Piper Heidsieck between 4-7pm, and get the second on us. Our treat to you, you deserve it. Perfectly paired with our famous Posh Fish & Chips, to share, or not!

Every Sunday: Nothing beats a Sunday gathered around the table, drink in hand, indulging in a top-quality roast! Book in and enjoy two courses for £28.50 and three for £33.50.

Christmas Eve Eve Party

Kick off the Christmas break as you mean to go on, with a proper Thatch Grown Up Party!

Christmas Eve

Join us for your Christmas Eve celebrations. Whether it’s a catch up with friends or family before the big day, or a few drinks in the bar, join us for your Christmas Eve lunch or supper before the big day. Book in if you’re dining, or just pop down if you’re joining us in the bar.

Christmas Day

We’re closed for the day to stuff ourselves with turkey and then gently nod off in front of the fire. We look forward to seeing you on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas.

New Year’s Eve

31st December is about seeing in the New Year with a group of friends or family, good food and a couple of drinks, so this year we’re throwing a party. Dress to impress and there’ll be a DJ form 9.30pm. Book a table online if you’re dining, our New Year’s Eve menu will be online soon, or if you’re just joining us for drinks in the bar – pop down.

If you’re planning a night in this year, book an early dinner table, or if you want the table all night, book in from 8pm. 

New Year’s Day

We’ll be back open to help fix any sore heads, serving gastropub classics alongside a range of our favourites from 12pm. Book in and join us and take the day off.

Burns Night Supper

There’s nothing quite like a Burn’s Night Supper… On 25th of January every year, Scots men and women, alumni of Scottish schools and universities, and lovers or descendants of Scots, all gather to celebrate the birthday of our national poet, Robert Burns. Join us for a three-course feast and of course, lots of whiskey. £55 per person, call us or book your table for 7pm, quoting “Burns Supper”. 7pm.

Valentine’s Day

However you spoil your loved one this year, choose us to celebrate. We’ll have a specials board full of indulgent sharing dishes, alongside our usual menu, and not forgetting a list full of sparkling wines to make your evening special. Book in and give your special someone a Valentine’s to remember.
