Champagne Fridays: Add some fizz to your weekend! Buy one glass or bottle of Piper Heidsieck between 4-6pm, and get the second on us. Our treat to you, you deserve it. Perfectly paired with our famous Posh Fish & Chips, to share, or not!

Every Month: Introducing our monthly changing menu. It’s all about serving the best that the season has to offer. Join us to find your new favourite dish. 

Dog Walking Adventures

Join our dog walk around lovely Thame, on the last Sunday of every month, during May – August! Meet us in the pub at 10 am for coffees and a bacon roll before we set off on our walk. We’ll be ending up back at the pub for a well-earned drink around 12 pm.

£10pp to include coffee or tea, a breakfast roll and a donation to the Blue Cross.

Autumn Menu Tasting

This is very possibly our most popular event. We hold one every season with each menu change and they are a guaranteed sell-out!

Join us for six courses, covering as many of our new dishes as possible, with wine to match each dish. Our chefs will be on hand to talk you through the menu and our team will be ensuring your glass is full to the brim – £65pp

Halloween Pumpkin Carving Competition

Pick up your pumpkin from 24th October and bring in your creation before 31st October when we’ll be announcing the winner.

We’re very mindful of our carbon footprint, here’s some ideas for what to do with your pumpkin flesh.

Santa at The Thatch

Burns Night Supper

There’s nothing quite like a Burn’s Night Supper… On 25th of January every year, Scots men and women, alumni of Scottish schools and universities, and lovers or descendants of Scots, all gather to celebrate the birthday of our national poet, Robert Burns.
