About Our Pub |
The Thatch is run by the award-winning Peach Pub Company. Managing Director, Lee Cash, was one of Raymond Blanc's inspectors on the TV show and, with co-founder Hamish Stoddart, was recently named in the Observer's Future 500 survey as one of the UK's Top 50 Talents in food. Peach's other Oxfordshire pubs, The Fishes in North Hinksey & The Fleece in Witney both feature in the Michelin Guide 2008.
Under head chef, Ross Whitmill, we are continuing to serve freshly prepared food using ingredients sourced from top quality suppliers. Our menu focuses on the best seasonal ingredients, British wherever possible. We are open from 10am daily for coffee & cake, serving hot food from noon and throughout the day.
Drop in for a drink in our cosy 16th century half-timbered bar or enjoy the summer weather in our secluded courtyard tucked away from the bustle of Thame High Street. We offer friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Well aware that Thame was once home to one of England's most famous inn-keepers, John Fothergill, we want The Thatch to be a pub he would have enjoyed.
Come and see us soon
